Long ago...when the vast, lush lands were untouched by the industrial hands of Man, when the mighty mountains still moaned and echoed through the endless vallies, the world was home to many enchanting and mystical creatures...But there were days, when the shifting clouds of the sky basked in the golden light of sun, and the winds were warm and peaceful, there was one beast that was legendary above all. I creature whose power rivaled Gods and Demons. For a time, the land was ruled...by Dragons.
The Dragons, were marvels of the land. Their powerful wings granted them the highest reach in to the heavens, and their mighty claws gave them domains on the highest summits. Their scales were as light as foam, but as hard as stone. And though there were others who were blessed by the elements, the Dragons had the power of fire. like valcanos bursting with red flames, Dragons casted their foes in a blazing inferno with a gust of their burning breath. But despite such mighty beast-
"Mizore!" cried the mother, dressed in her japanese night goun, of a disobediant little snow fairy, catching her reading an old book in bed, far past the tiny miss's sleep curfew. "I thought I told you to go to sleep young lady." she added, her hands on her waist sternly.

"But, I was readin' a story, Momma..." the young Mizore protested, her long purple hair pulled back in a ponytail. "But, you're a better reader..." She held the book out, wanting her mom to read it to her. "Can you read it to me, Momma? Pretty please? I promise I'll go to sleep if you do."

The mother's anger was disarmed by her child's pleading pearl-purple eyes as she held up the old book up to her, hopeing to hear a reluctant yes. Succumbed to her daughter's adorable gaze, she responded in exasperated sarcasm, "Oh can those precious eyes get any bigger." she then smirked and sat down with her little fairy and held the book in her white, slender hands. Before she began to read, she stopped herself and asked Mizore a concerning question, "Where did you find this book, Mizore? Was this in our family collection?"

"I found it in the attic." she said, looking up at her mom innocently. "Why? Is it a bad book, Momma..?" She seemed a bit confused. Seeing the title had something to do with dragons, she'd assumed it was a storybook. But, maybe it wasn't.

"No, no, sweety. Its not a bad book." She assured her child with a smile, "ts actually a very good book. Here, i'll show you. " she looked at the pages and assumed where her child left off as she continued to read outloud in a soft and gentle voice, " But despite such mighty beasts, the dragons were not malicious nor sinister. They did not rule as cruel tyrants of opression and hate, but were fair and noble gaurdians that valued justice and honor...Such virtuess legends would fly across the sky in clusters of hundreds as they chased the wind...in that time, it was a golden age for not just the Dragons but for all that were under their protection. For they were indeed the champions of the land..." Then she slowly closed the book, despite that there was still more charcters written within the dry, wrinkled pages.

Mizore didn't protest, as she was already falling asleep in her mother's arms. "More tomorrow..?" she asked in a whisper, her eyes closing.

Mizore's mother bit her lower lip faintly, "Maybe, my little snowflake..." as her daughter drifted into sleep, she added, "But the ending is a little sad..."
Many years later have passed, long after the curious snow fairy realized that Dragons have been since long extinct; one of the greatest S-class monsters had dissapeared many ages ago. But now, as a young teenage girl, such ancient history seemed irrelevant to her. Now was the time for a much more pressing matter; Highschool.
Hidden under the great veil that blinds human society of its presence is a sacred institute of learning and socializing. This foundation is called "Yokai Academy" where young monsters of all shapes and sizes come to learn how to co-exist with humans in their desgiuses.
However, something interesting happened to this supposedly "free-human" School. A young man named Tsukune Aono accidentally found himself transfered to this academy and has struggled to both sustain his academic studies, as well as his mortal life while staying nder the same roof with his fellow monstrous class mates. Thankfully he's not alone. Through the first year, he managed to make many friends and allies, some of them in paticular are five very powerful, very dependable, and very clingy teenage girls, who all constantly fight and squable for the young man's affections despite not being a monster himself. Mizore is one of them.
But now, this second year, this new year, will have yet another student enter the gates of Ykai academy, and with him brings the revealation of the century.

Mizore woke in the morning, smiling tiredly. Her dream had been the memory of that night with her mother. She yawned and got up, getting dressed. She was happy to be seeing Tsukune again, since they hadn't seen each other as much over the summer. Today was move-in day, since all the students lived on campus. She hoped she had a room next to one of her friends this year, but there was no guarantee. Luckily, though, she didn't have to worry about any roommates since there were no other Yukki Onna at the school. After all, roommates could only be paired if there were the same species because otherwise there could be conflict.
She pulled her thigh-high stockings on and ran downstairs. "Are you ready to go, Mom?" she asked, making sure she had enough temperature-steadying lollipops to last until she could get more.

Mizore's mother, still as young and beautiful as she was when Mizore was little, confirmed with her daughter as she added, "Now remember, sweetheart, make sure that handsome young man Tsukune falls for you. I wont stress to you how much marriage is important to this family. But I still stand by my advice last year, you could still freeze him if you truelly love him."

"I know, Mother." she said, blushing slightly at the thought of Tsukune. "Come on, we have to move in today. I want to be the first one there, so I can meet Tsukune when he arrives." She picked up her suitcase, which had a couple different outfits. Though, she wouldn't need much since she was in school and she would have to wear the uniform. Or at least her version of the uniform.

(what does this make you think of in a story www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eqMszMGUww)after a few hours after the family's departure from the mountains, just arriving to Yokai academy, a silhouette of a large entity rushed through the morning mist of the shoreline and torwards the cliff side of where Mizore once secluded herself in privacy when she felt alone. But what landed to the ground was merely a young man, clearly not japanese. He wore a black leather coat with pale blue jeans and rough boots. His eyes were brilliant blue, as if they were windows into the endless sky, and his hair was short trimmed, bark brown color. All of his facial features and body build suggested that he was from across seas, but that didnt stop him from ventureing forward into the dead trees of the huanting forest that surrounds the school campus. With a confident smile, he straightened his coat and said to himself, "Alright, lets see what this school is all abou-" suddenly the distant echo of large bells rung continuessly in a simple rythm. At first, he didnt understood what it meant then realized with a shocked expression and cried out, "I'm late!" Then dashed forward as fast as the wind hoping to the heavens that he could still make it to his class.

Mizore was just settling in her seat as the bell rang. She sat near Tsukune, who was in her class. The only empty seat was to her right. She thought that odd, because usually all the classes were full. But, maybe someone had dropped out at the last moment.
The cat-teacher took her place at the front of the class, introducing herself to anyone who didn't know her yet -though most of them did.
(the first thing I thought of was some sort of Western, and then I thought of Lone Ranger. XD)

(lol, i was thinking this would be perfect music for a steam punk western story.)
Tsukune was, as usually, attentive of his teacher's introduction and lectures, listening closely to whatever she had to say, though, he was still deeply paranoid of what might happen to him if he was ever discovered to be human. He was thankful that he had friends like Moka and the other girls to help him out, but last year was really close, those punishment guys almost had him killed as well as his friends. He knew that they, especially moka were strong, but he wondered if his luck could hold up for three more years of this...not to mention the romantic pressure everyone seems to put on him. He had a feeling that year might get even more crazi-
Without warning, an unfamiliar, foreign voice cried out in loud desperation, "WAIT!!" And a young man, not in school uniform barged right into the class room, however, he ran so hastfully in, he tripped on his own leg and fell flat on his face, his entire body skidding across the floor until the top of his head hit the bottom of the speaker desk.
initially, there was a moment of awkward silence, followed by muffled giggling.
Then without warning, as if he never fell down to begin with, the odd fellow hopped back onto his feet and adressed to the teacher first and said, "I'm deeply, DEEPLY sorry for being late! I'm the new transer student, a-and I believe this is my right class room! I-uh-confused the numbers and letters a little bit and ended up stepping into three different wrong classrooms. B-But im here now, and you wont make me tardy right?" the teacher was about to say something, but the lad was still on a verbal overdrive and whipped around to adress the rest of the class and said a swift, but ill-prepaired introduction, "My name is Alasdair Corignis, but my comra-er-friends, call me Al. I'm 17, and i love flying through the clouds on a warm breezy days-that is...in a plane! yeah, I love planes! Anyways I hope we can all get along...!" When he finally finished, the room was still silent, with the exception of a few chuckles and whispers as he started to feel even more confused and embarrased, failing to realize that he did not say a single word of japanese but instead, his own language; english.

The teacher, of course, knew English. Though, she wasn't very good at it. "Please, sit down, Corignis." she said, motioning to the only seat that was left next to Mizore.
Mizore was watching him curiously. She understood English since her home town was a popular place for tourists to come -even from other countries. She was one of the few who didn't laugh at him, but she did think he was being unnecessarily loud. She understood that it was because he was nervous, and so she didn't let that affect her opinion of him.

Tsukune just stared at the strange student, looking way too tall to be japanese, and he wondered why he was wasnt wearing his school uniform. But for some odd reason, he felt like he could relate himself to him in someway.
meanwhile, Kurumu, being the obnoxious succubus that she was, was struggling from laughing outloud, as she covered her mouth with her hands as she let out a snicker through her neisal cavity.
Al, confused but obediant, quickly found an empty seat and finally relaxed as he slouched down in the seat. He wished he couldve done that better, but all he could do now was to be grateful that they allowed him to stay despite his late arrival.

The teacher managed to get everyone quieted down and started teaching again. However, every once in a while, some students would glance back at the odd new transfer student.
Mizore stayed quiet, but kept glancing over at him as well. He seemed interesting. She thought, perhaps, she would follow him after class.
(Mizore the stalker, yay~ XD)

(lol)
During break, Tsukune walked over to Mizore first, noticing earlier that she had glanced back at the new student a few times during the period. "hey Mizore, I noticed you were checking out the new guy earlier."
Tsukune glances back at where Al was sitting, only to see that he was sleeping soundly at his desk, passed out half way through the lecture. "He sure seems like an odd one, even for this schools standards." he thought as a single sweatdrop condenced on the side of his head.

"He seems interesting..." she said, moving closer to Tsukune. "I mean, he's certainly not Japanese... But, I wonder where he's from."
"We should ask him~" Moka said, smiling. As usual, she was friendly and bubbly. She went over to Al and poked him to wake him up.

As moka wondered over to greet Al, Kurumu had found Tsukune's firm arm to grapple onto as she flirted him with her seductive words and bouncing juggalos, where it left Tsukune both distracted and awkwardly aroused.
Al, didnt stir from his sleep until after twelve pokes and the bantering skirmish that was taking place just two desks away, where he woke up to see a vampire, a succubus, a witch, and a snow fairy fight over the affections of...a human? Al was now fully awake, shocked to see a Human here, he found it hard to believe at first, but there was no doubt in his sense of smell, that guy was definitely human. He found it odd, considering that he was left under the impression that humans were not even aware of this place...he had to know the reason.
With great initiative, he gets out of his desk and, ignoring the romantic frenzy next to them. Al taps Tsukune on the shoulder to get his atention and says, "hey...uh...friend? im speaking japanese right?" he checked his language to see if he was using the right one this time.
Tsukune hesitantly confermed and siad, "Y-yeah...you want to talk to me?"
"Yeah, my name is Alasdair, you can call me Al...kun?"
tsukune couldnt help but chuckle a little, "How about i just call you Al? we can forget the formalities. my name is Tsukune Aono. its nice to meet you."
"Pleasure" he responded his japanese becoming much more fluent now, "say, i dont suppose we can talk somewhere...not as loud?" he suggested as he gestured over to the squabbling girls.
tsukune could only sigh in exassperation as he agreed to to his suggestion, he figured it would be nice to talk to guy for once, and he didnt seem like a bad person in anyway, infact, compaired to most boys at this school, he felt...a sense of reassurence with Al.
After about ten minutes, kurumu was the first to notice, of course, that her beloved had vanished, "hey where did Tsukune-kun go?"

"How could you not notice him leaving?" Yukari shouted at her, summoning a washbin to drop on her head.
Moka then realized to, looking around for Tsukune. "Hey... Mizore's gone, too." she noticed.
Meanwhile, Mizore had followed the two boys. There was no way she could let Tsukune wander off alone with the new kid. What if he figured out that Tsukune was human, or tried to hurt him? Someone would need to be there to protect him just in case.
